dog days.

Days like today are why I love being a nurse.
"But Emily, you didn't work today..."
That's beside the point. (I kid, mostly. I love my job.)

Only working 3 days a week means I get more time to enjoy 65 degree days and playing with my dog at the park! Today was beyond gorgeous and completely mind-blowing that I was able to wander around at 3 in the afternoon on a winter day in a tanktop. Ah, thankyaverymuch.
My sweet girl didn't mind the weather either.
This park has everything! Ducks, a lake (kayaking anyone?), great shady space, and an incoming plane landing every 10 minutes. What? Yeah. It's a bit disturbing to the peace, but kinda fun to photograph.

OH, and speaking of being a nurse...!
My official credentials can now be listed as Emily Garner, BSN, RN, CMSRN.
Super fancy, ya'll.
After the stress from the exam was lifted early this morning, I got super productive and had one of the best days I've had in a while.
What do you love to do on your days off?
Happy Thursday, friends!
